Tesseron Composition Cognac

Tesseron Composition is a new product to the Tesseron brand. The history of Tesseron is producing aged XO cognac, but the Composition was founded around a challenge to Romain, the master blender, to create an exceptional Cognac by blending younger eaux de vie. Challenge accepted, Romain crafted this product by blending eaux de vie created from the two smallest and best regarded appellations of Cognac, grande champagne and petite champagne. These eaux de vie had spent at least 4 years ageing in Limousin oak casks. So pleased with the result, the company decided to launch their first ever VSOP Cognac.

Tasting notes from the brand:
The colour is light, bright and shiny, with an elegant nose of dry apricot and vine flowers. The taste is round, full, persistent with delicious spices.
